IMPORTANT DATES
  • August 1 - All teams need 12 paid players on roster to be included in the schedule.

  • August 15 - Fall season begins

  • September 3rd - 5th - No games - OCASL Foundation Tourney

  • October 29 - Fall Season ends

Email your team name and division of play to ocasl@tasl.us to get the ball rolling!

JOIN US FOR THE FALL!

All players must be at least 18 years of age to participate.  No exceptions!

10 game season

Every effort will be made to play all games, but not guaranteed. 

Alternate game days may occasionally be required.

Divisions of Play:  Recreation, Over 30, Over 40, Open Pickup and Over 50 Pickup.

NCASA State Fees

OCASL@TASL is now an affiliated league under North Carolina Adult Soccer Association.  OCASL players that have not been registered with NCASA will pay the state fee in addition to the league fees below. 

The state fee is paid once per year and is good through 2022.  NCASA established a discounted fee ($15) for the OCASL players joining for the remainder of 2022!  Thank you, NCASA!

Divisions & League Fees

Recreation Divisions:  $95 league fee 

  • 11 vs 11, 45 min halves, Saturday games
  • Cedar Falls 1 and Cedar Falls 2
  • 3 divisions - Kaminsky (Rec 1), Studdard (Rec 2) and O'Hara (Rec 3)

Over 40 Anderson Division:  (O40 men/O30 women) - $85 league fee

  • 8 vs 8, 40 min halves, Tuesday nights
  • Cedar Falls 3 (2 small fields), Homestead 1, Homestead 2

Over 30 Division:   $85 league fee

  • 8 vs 8, 40 min halves, Wednesday nights
  • Cedar Falls 3 (2 small fields), Homestead 1, Homestead 2

Open Pickup Nights: $35 league fee  Register for the team "OCASL Crew"

  • Ten Mondays and ten Thursdays
  • Cedar Falls 3
  • Players are asked to bring a white and dark shirt.

Over 50 Pickup Nights:  $65 league fee  Register for the team "Closer to 70 than 80"

  • Ten Mondays and ten Thursdays
  • Cedar Falls 3
  • Players are asked to bring a white and dark shirt.

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS!

New players will need to create a User ID & Password the first time that you register.

Passwords can only be 7-8 characters.

Returning players from Summer should be recognized and should not create a new account.

GUEST PLAYERS

GUEST PLAYERS & RINGERS

GUEST PLAYERS:  A guest is a player that is not registered to the league.  A guest must have the captain's permission to play one time with the team before deciding whether to join.

Guests MUST register  and pay the $15 NCASA State (insurance) Fee BEFORE they step on the field.  No exceptions.  A headshot photo is required during registration for new players. Please see step by step instructions on how to register.

RINGERS:  A ringer is a player that is already rostered to a team or has paid for the pick up league for the current season.  There is no charge for a ringer to be added to the roster for a game.  There is no limit on the number of games in which a ringer may participate.

Ringers must register for a GAME DATE so that we know to add you to a team roster for the game.

SELECT THE DATE OF THE GAME (as the team) TO REGISTER. 

After you check the box for Player, scroll down and TYPE in the name of the team you are playing with.

 

FREE AGENTS

NEED A TEAM?

REGISTER AS A FREE AGENT! 

Players without a team are not guaranteed placement but we will make every effort to find a team for you!

No fees are required until you agree to join a team. 

Team Captains go to the player pool to find additional players so the sooner you register, the better your chances are to find a team!

RULES

RULES OF PLAY
  • 8 vs 8 team rosters must have a minimum of 12 players.  11 vs 11 team rosters must have a minimum of 21 players.
  • Players must wear shin guards at all games.
  • Team Captains must provide the official a printed Game Day Roster prior to the start of each game.
  • Players should have proof of identification at the field to present to the official if there are questions.
