Fees overview

PLAYER REGISTRATION FEES:  Each player is responsible for their registration and payment.

Men's, Women's and Coed Divisions - Spring 2012:

Registration for first team:

Returning Player (with current, fall 2011 NCASA player pass) = $85

New Player = $110

Registration for second team:

All players = $85

Registration for third, fourth team, etc.:

All players = $10 each team

New Recreation Division Fee for Spring 2012:

New or Returning Player = $60

NCASA player fees are paid once yearly and are due the first time that a player registers with the league. Players who do not register to play for the fall season must pay the higher player registration fee for the first registration in the spring in order to cover the cost of the NCASA player fee.

NOTE - Teams must register and be "approved" by the TASL office before players can register for the team.  Please allow up to one business day for team approval.

What if I registered for the Player Pool in the fall and I did not get picked up?

All Pool Players will need to re-register for the spring season or the team captains will not be able to access your player information.  You will not pay the player fee until you join a specific team.

What if I play on a team that gets sponsored and I don’t have to pay fees?

You will register and select “Mail-In Check” option.  Your Team Captain will be responsible for bringing the sponsor money into the TASL office, along with a list of players and how the credit will be applied to each player.  You will be responsible for sending in a check to the TASL office (or to your Team Captain) for the difference in the player fee and what your sponsor paid.

Will I get a credit if my team does not play the 10 games?

TASL has been very successful in almost every season in rescheduling rained out games.  TASL will continue to make every effort in rescheduling, but will no longer provide a 10 game guarantee.

What if I do not participate on a team during the regular league games, but I play on the team for tournaments?

All non-carded players that participate only in tournaments will be required to become a registered player and pay the NCASA player fee of $25.  Tournament rosters are not accepted for regular league games, and tournament only players will not be on league rosters.

What if I want to transfer teams?

There is a transfer fee of $10 for switching teams. Contact the TASL office to initiate a team transfer.

What if I lose my player pass?

Replacement player passes are $10 per pass and must be paid before the replacement is ordered.

If I change my mind will I get a refund?

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to registrar@tasl.us.  Refunds are not guaranteed, but the following key benchmarks apply:

Before player passes are ordered: Registration fee minus $10

After passes are ordered but before the first game of the season:  Registration fee minus $35

After the first game of the season:  Registration fee minus $50

After the second game but before the third game:  No refund, but $55 credit towards the next season.

After the third game:  No refund.

There will be no refunds for the $10 fee charged for a 3rd, 4th, etc. team.

If a player has paid for three teams and wants to drop from one of them, there will not be a refund.

What if a player joins later in the season?

After game 5 of the 10 game season player fees will be as follows:

Registration for first team:

Returning Player (with current player pass) = $45

New Player = $70

Registration for second team:

All players = $45

Registration for third, fourth team, etc.:

All players = $10 each team

Performance bonds

All teams are required to have an up-to-date Performance Bond on file each season. The amount of the Performance Bond will be established by the TASL Board prior to the start of the season.  Performance bonds can be cashed to pay:

  • Outstanding team balances

  • Match officials of a forfeited game

  • Field rental fees

Team Performance Bonds should be in the form of a check payable to "TASL". Performance Bond checks are kept on file in the TASL office and are only cashed if a team forfeits a game or has outstanding fees. If a forfeit occurs, the Team Captain must submit a new Performance Bond to the TASL office prior to their next scheduled game.

Unused Performance Bond checks are destroyed after the applicable season.  We do not keep outdated checks on file.

Additional player costs:

Uniforms are team-specific and are not included in the player registration fee. Please ask your Team Captain for information about uniform costs.

Additional fees might be required for your team. Check with your Team Captain for a full list of costs associated with your team.
