Summer Heat

of the TASL Summer Heat League.

 

IMPORTANT DATES:

May 14th - Team registration deadline

May 19th - Players must be registered by this date to be guaranteed a tee shirt for the first game.

Monday, June 7th - Summer Heat begins

No games June 28th - July 5th.

July 26th - Summer Heat ends.

 

DIVISIONS:  Men's Open, Men's Over 30, Women's Open, Coed A, Coed B, Coed C, and Coed D

  

"A" is an advanced level for the more serious competitors; "B" is advanced intermediate level; "C" is an intermediate level;

"D" is recreational - just for fun!

Note - All divisions are not guaranteed.  Divisions may be combined or expanded as needed.

 

DAYS: 

        Tuesday/Thursdays:  Men's Open, Men's Over 30, Women's Open, Coed A, Coed B

        Monday/Wednesdays:  Coed C, Coed D

Note - Alternate game days may occasionally be required.

 

FIELDS (see maps):  Morrisville Cedar Fork, WRAL Centex, WRAL Durhambulls, Middle Creek, Twin Lakes, Herndon Park

 

FORMAT:

9 vs. 9 format

Minimum roster size is 14 players.  Pool players will be added to team rosters with less than 14 players.

Coed teams must have 2 females on the field at all times.

 

GAMES: 

Twelve (12) game season - 2 games per week.

Two 25 minute halves with a 5 minute half time.

Game start times:  6:15pm, 7:30pm, 8:15pm and 9:30pm

 

TASL pays the official.  One official per game.

Note - No forfeits or weather related make-ups.

 

SUMMER HEAT RULES 

 

PLAYER FEES: 

Includes a Summer Heat Tee Shirt and registration with the North Carolina Adult Soccer Association.

Online credit card payment is available during registration.  If you do not pay online, please submit your payment to the Team Captain.

 

        Veteran Players:  $78

        Veteran players must have played in TASL in Fall 2009 or Spring 2010 and have a current, valid NCASA player pass.

 

        New Players:  $93 

        If you did not play in TASL in the Fall 2009 or Spring 2010 season.

 

Need a team?  Register as a player that does not have a team, select mail-in check option (online payment is not available), and send your payment into the TASL office.  Your check will not be cashed unless you are placed on a team.

 

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES:

 

TEAMS:

  • The Team Captain must submit the team name and division to TASL by emailing Andy at andy.truex@tasl.us

  • TASL will post the accepted team name on the website under the registration link.

  • The Team Captain will register the team.

  • TASL will activate the team so that player registration can begin.

 

PLAYERS:

  • Players with a specific team must be pre-approved by the Team Captain.  It is recommended that players pay by credit card online, or you must submit your payment to the Team Captain.

  • Players must register for each team that they play on.

  • Captains must also register as a player if they plan to play.

  • Players without a team must select "Do Not Have a Team" and should mail the Certificate of Registration and payment to TASL.  You will be contacted by the office with team information.  Players without a team are not guaranteed placement but we will make every effort to find a team for you.
